Inexpensive Date Ideas for Loving Couples. Part 2
Inexpensive Date Ideas Part 1
We continue our list of inexpensive date ideas for everyone.
Go shopping together. Go to a mall or a flea market and pick presents for each other. If you want to be frugal, make a rule to spend no more that $10 or so.
If you are into sports (or even if you are not), visit indoor rock-climbing gym.
If you like going to different concerts, but don’t have money at the moment, go to your local college and universities’ websites and see if they have any concerts or shows available. Many schools host events free to the public, so don’t be lazy to look for them. You may also check local high schools for theatrical or dance performances, which may be open for the public.
Go sightseeing in your own town. Many foreigners are shocked when they hear that more than a half of the U.S. population (even those who live relatively close to New York) haven’t been on the Ellis Island and have never seen the statue of liberty.
Go to the local library or to a bookstore and buy your city’s tourist guide. You may be surprised at what you find.
Take a class together. Most community colleges offer non-credit classes which are very cheap. Depending on what you like you can take salsa class, Indian cooking class or a wine tasting class. You will not only become closer to each other and refresh your relationship, but learn something useful as well.
Visit a cookie or a chocolate factory together. Some factories may only have group tours, so invite your friends to come along if this is the case.
Go bowling together.
Visit car dealerships and test-drive some neat looking cars.
There are many other inexpensive date ideas that you may come up with. Most importantly, remember that money doesn’t make you happy and you don’t have to be rich to have a great time together.
