Inexpensive Date Ideas for Loving Couples
Even if your relationship or marriage is passionate and you love each other just as much as you did in the beginning of your relationship, it is still a good idea to spice some things up once in awhile. Many people were hit by the economy crisis, so they completely stopped going out. Here are some free or inexpensive date ideas for those who believe that the best things in life are free.
I have to admit that even when we had extra money I didn’t like the idea to eat at a restaurant. I mean, it is great when someone prepares food for you and you don’t have wonder whether your loved one is going to help you with the dishes. But eating at a restaurant is not a good romantic date idea, simply because people end up paying more attention to food instead of each other. Also, it is often loud at restaurants, so if you want to talk you have to raise your voice which is very far from romantic.
One of the best and the cheapest date ideas is to go out for a simple walk together. It is such an easy thing to do, but according to some date only 20% of couples do it. Why? Probably because of the Western consumer culture, which makes you believe that if you want to have a good time, you have to spend money. You end up spending all of your time to earn money which you think may make you happier and end up missing your life and things which are really important.
If you can’t imagine your date without food, don’t go to a restaurant. Go for a romantic picnic instead. Take your partner somewhere they haven’t been before, or take them to a place which is very special to you or to both of you.
Go to a skating rink (or to ice-skating rink if the weather allows). It is even better if you have never done this before, because you will create some really special memories. Sating rink is a very good inexpensive date idea, because it is a perfect opportunity to hold hands and laugh when you accidentally fall on each other.
