Romantic Date Ideas on a Budget Part 2
Romantic Date Ideas on a Budget Part 1
As I wrote in my previous post, being romantic doesn’t require having lots of money. There are so many affordable or even free romantic date ideas, that it is almost a crime not to implement them into your love life.
Romantic Date Idea Nr. 4. Prepare a meal together. This is particularly good for people who don’t know how to cook. Choose the most complicated cake or casserole recipe and try making it together. Who cares if what you prepare is going to taste awful. You will most definitely create memories which will last forever.
If you nail it, good for you. If you are not married yet, you can see how well you can (or can’t) work together.
Also, if your masterpiece comes out fantastic you will save money on going out, because cooking from scratch is always cheaper.
Romantic Date Idea Nr. 5. Take classes together. Choose something that you both like, or choose something that both of you have never tried (such as glass blowing, for example). If you live in a relatively big city, you should have plenty of art centers, which offer such classes. I also recommend checking your local community colleges. They often offer a variety of non-credit courses for pretty cheap.
Romantic Date Idea Nr 6. Visit a museum together. Don’t roll your eyes. Museums don’t have to be boring. To really understand museum, learn some history first. Read about the specific museum you are visiting online, or go to a library. Then you can not only enjoy it, but impress your partner with your deep knowledge of history and art. Plus, visiting museums is usually free or really inexpensive.
As Elynor Glyn once said:” Romance is the glamour which turns the dust of everyday life into a golden haze.” Remember this.
