Romantic Gift Ideas for Your Favorite Guy

Men might disagree with me, but I always thought that buying a gift for a woman is one of the easiest things on Earth. When it comes to romantic gift ideas for guys, I personally always get lost and frustrated.

I know exactly what my man wants (or according to him, needs) for holidays. Tools. The problem is, my female brain does not see the difference between routers or chainsaws. Before all female rights activists jump on me for being politically incorrect, I will clarify that yes, if I really wanted to understand (and even use) the tools my man is using, I probably could. However, I don’t want to. I am much more interested in experimenting with cake recipes and shopping for children clothing. I could get him a Home Depot gift card of course, but how romantic would that be?

So before every holiday, I search Google in hopes to find great romantic gift ideas for my guy. I finally decided to make a list of my favorite ones, so maybe other women who don’t find chainsaws romantic, can get some use out of it.

1.    A personalized message, or a photo (or both) printed on coffee mug. He will think about you every time he has a drink.

2.    Make him his favorite meal or bake a cake. If you are living together and are always doing all the cooking anyone, surprise him with something exotic. Maybe, something that he used to eat when he was a child.

3.    Make “love coupons”. They don’t have to be corny. Be creative. You can include coupons like “back massage”, a “favorite meal”, a “breakfast out”, and so on. If you have kids you can have something like “give kids a bath” or “change diapers all day long”.

4.    Make a calendar with photos of two of you and captions.

5.    Get pizza delivered to his house with a note attached. Ask him to come to a certain place (such as park, for example) with the pizza. Have a picnic set up when he arrives (hopefully). Make sure you pay for pizza upfront.

6.    If you have children, arrange babysitting without letting your husband know. You may take him out to a romantic dinner. Well, it is up to your creativity what you want to do while the kids are gone. ;-)

If these romantic gift ideas don’t seem good enough, get him a Home Depot card. He will be just as thrilled. ;-)
